A LAW TO PROHIBIT TRADITIONAL BIRTH ATTENDANTS FROM ATTENDING TO PREGNANT WOMEN WITHOUT HIV/AIDS SCREENING RESULTS.

The African Youth Development Foundation (AFRYDEF) will on Monday, May 18, 2009 start a vigorous campaign aimed at proposing a bill in Imo State, Nigeria, prohibiting traditional birth attendants from attending to and handling pregnant women without HIV/AIDS screening results.
